My name is Carmen Méndez and I am running for Yakima City Council District 3. I was born in Yakima and raised in Colima, Mexico. Most of my childhood was spent moving back and forth like a lot of the Hispanics families in this area do. I am a mother, sister, friend and a first generation Mexican-American running for the City of Yakima District 3 Candidate.
